British passport holders don't need a visa for a holiday in Mauritius. Your passport needs to be valid for your whole stay, with at least one blank page. Before you fly, each of you must complete the Mauritius All-in-One Travel Form online. It's best done in the 72 hours before departure. Print the copy with the QR code to show on arrival.
Open the travel form ↗Emirates will also ask for your Advance Passenger Information before you fly. If anyone holds a non-British passport, please let me know so I can check the rules for you.
You don't need a visa to connect in Dubai. Both your flights use Terminal 3, so just follow the Transfers signs and you'll stay airside without going through immigration. For the stopover, your passports need at least 3 months' validity from the date you pass through.
The UAE has strict rules on some medicines, including certain common prescription and over-the-counter ones, and these apply even when you're only transiting. If any of you take regular medication, message me before you travel and I'll help you check.
